Voices of Colour is a transformative digital skills and community action programme for underrepresented young womxn between the ages of 15- 25. We provide them with the platform and necessary tools to make a meaningful change within their communities and support them to achieve their aspirations.
The first part of the community action programme provides the girls with the opportunity to create positive change in their communities on an issue that impacts them. We provide them with the necessary digital skills to enable them to create online campaigns to build youth led projects in collaboration with local partners. We provide the tools and resources for them to enact that change and to creatively raise their voices to garner engagement.
The second part of the programme focuses towards providing the girls with role models in the form of mentors. These women are changemakers and leaders in their own right from different sectors who identity as South Asian, along with guiding them during the programme with a focus on their personal development journey.
